Privacy Policy

This policy explains what WaziWork collects, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to apply to jobs for you. We don’t sell your data or use it for advertising.
What we collect
- Account: your email address and sign-in records.
- Resume: the file you upload, its text, and the details we extract from it (work history, education, skills, links, contact details on the resume).
- Preferences: your answers about target jobs, location, salary, job type, industries and dealbreakers, and an optional phone number.
- Applications: the jobs we matched, the tailored resumes and cover letters we created, answers we gave on application forms, and each application’s status and confirmation.
- Employer emails: messages sent to your WaziWork address, including any attachments.
- Billing: your subscription status. Card details are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
- Technical data: basic logs (such as IP address and browser) needed to run and secure the site.
How we use it
- To find matching jobs, tailor your resume and cover letters, and submit applications you’ve authorized.
- To read replies to your WaziWork address, update application statuses and forward important messages to you.
- To send you account emails, such as drafts ready for approval and weekly summaries.
- To bill you, prevent abuse, and keep the service working.
Who we share it with
- Employers you apply to: they receive your application (resume, cover letter, contact details and form answers) through their own systems, and their privacy policies apply from then on.
- Service providers who process data for us: Supabase (database and file storage), Vercel (website hosting), Railway (application automation), Anthropic (AI used to tailor resumes, write cover letters and sort employer emails), Postmark (email), and Stripe (payments). They may only use your data to provide their services to us.
- When required by law, or to protect our users or the service.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your resume, preferences, tailored documents and stored emails within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal or tax reasons. Applications already sent to employers stay with those employers; contact them directly to remove them.
Your choices
- You can view your applications and documents, change your preferences and replace your resume in your dashboard at any time.
- You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account by emailing support@waziwork.com. We’ll respond within 30 days.
- You can cancel your subscription in your settings.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to what each part of the service needs, and your files are stored in private storage. No system is perfectly secure, so please tell us at support@waziwork.com if you notice anything wrong.
Age
WaziWork is for people 18 and over. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
Changes
If we change this policy in a significant way, we’ll email you before the change takes effect.
